Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Club'd ("the App") collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. Club'd helps students discover, join, and favorite school clubs.

Information We Collect

Account information — if you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from that provider.
Guest usage data — before you sign in, the App uses an anonymous, randomly generated identifier (via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) so your favorites and joined clubs are remembered on your device.
Club activity — which clubs you favorite or join, and your display preferences (theme, color, text size).
Club requests — if you submit a request to add a new club, we collect the details you provide (club name, description, category, contact email, and reason).

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or browsing activity outside the App.

How We Use Information

To operate core features — saving and syncing your favorites and joined clubs across devices once you sign in.
To remember your appearance preferences.
To review, approve, or reject club creation requests.
To maintain the security and integrity of the App, including preventing abuse and enforcing our Terms of Service.

Data Storage & Security

Information is stored using Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Firebase Authentication, and Cloud Storage). Access to administrative data is restricted to authorized club and platform administrators through security rules enforced on every request.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or tracking services. Information is processed only by our infrastructure provider (Google Firebase/Cloud) as necessary to operate the App.

Your Rights & Choices

You can sign out at any time from the Profile screen.
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time via Profile → Delete Account. This action is irreversible.
Guest (pre-sign-in) data is tied to your device and is removed if you uninstall the App.

Children's Privacy

Club'd is intended for use by high school students, staff, and club administrators. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
